We are looking for an experienced RF Designer in electrical hardware design, integration, and testing of radio frequency (RF) /Microwave circuit.  The successful candidate should be able to attain product compliance by reviewing and optimizing unit design, executing compliance test programs, and completing documentation.  The candidate should also be familiar with electrical compliance standards applicable to the telecommunication industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Design, integration and testing of RF/Microwave circuits and modules for mobile communication applications (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE standards): Frequency Converters, LNAs, high efficiency RF power amplifiers, and similar

·        Work with the RF team on new circuits, modules and system designs, testing and optimization, and transition from prototype to manufacturable product.

Ensures unit/system compliance by reviewing design; identifying and resolving design issues; conducting and witnessing tests; analyzing and evaluating findings; performing forensic analysis of failures; troubleshooting failures.
Organizes compliance program by preparing timetables, cost estimates, and required resources including test laboratories and equipment.
Recommends product and process changes; initiating engineering change orders.
Performs FCC/UL compliance documentation package filing and responds to office actions
Skills & Requirements:

Hand-on experience in design of both RF active and passive circuits, such as RF amplifiers, mixers, filters, coupler, and RF assemblies such as down-converters, up-converters, PLLs, etc.
Hand-on experience in a test and measurement of RF/Microwave circuits and modules using test equipment like: Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNAs, Noise Figure Meters, etc.
Experience with schematic entry, PCB layout design and component library maintenance for RF circuit/modules using Altium tool.
Experience in collecting, documenting and analyzing product test data, and presenting results during review meetings.
Experience writing test plans and procedures and developing test setups for product evaluation
Familiarity with UL 60950, NEBS Core, CE and FCC standards
Experience in creation of compliance plans by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying compliance engineering concepts, approaches, techniques, and criteria; adapting and modifying compliance engineering options; developing and evaluating new compliance methodologies; qualifying vendors, components, and parts.
Experience in documenting compliance process by completing approval applications; recording test results; preparing investigative reports; maintaining compliance database.
Effective communicator – using verbal as well as written skills.
Works well in a small team as well as independently.
Highly motivated, achieves goals without supervision.
Willingness to work overtime on occasion

Education Requirements:

Diploma or degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience in R&D environment
